James E. Akins

James Elmer Akins (born October 15, 1926 in Akron, Ohio - July 15, 2010 in Mitchelville, Maryland) was the U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from September, 1973 to February, 1976, just in time to serve during the 1973 Oil Crisis of October, 1973 - March, 1974.
