Phil Edwards (athlete)
Philip Aaron "Phil" Edwards, MD (September 13, 1907 – September 6, 1971), track and field athlete the "Man of Bronze", was Canada's most-decorated Olympian, the first Black Canadian man to win a trophy at what are now known as the Commonwealth Games, and the first-ever winner of the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada's top athlete.
