  2. nesslabs.com

Roam Research considers uppercase and lowercase tags/pages to be different instances. Yes, you can clean things up as you go and merge these instances together, but it is a bit annoying to have to worry about taxonomy in the first place—especially when using a tool that feels so intuitive otherwise.
  3. nesslabs.com

What are some use cases for Roam Research? Roam is extremely modular. You can use it for anything from writing, brainstorming, journaling, managing to-do lists, drawing diagrams, practicing spaced repetition, building a digital garden, and more. You don't need to use Roam for all these use cases if that makes no sense for your particular goals.
  4. thesweetsetup.com

Roam Research is a new note-taking tool that's re-imagining the way that we capture information, and it takes many of its cues from the pre-internet era. Doing away with the traditional file and folder structure that most note-taking tools have stuck with since the dawn of the PC, Roam has more in common with Wikipedia than it does with a traditional notes app.
  5. tharan.medium.com

Join courses only for learning the fundamental ways to use Roam. Otherwise, get inspired by shared ideas in the community. (Reddit has a good active community, you can also check Roam's discourse site) I suggest not to use roam for spaced repetition system for studying. use Roam as spaced evolving system for your knowledge.
