  2. I think I was sick when I watched Dr. Findlay, so I was watching multiple episodes a day. I hate when there's a really good series then it turns out they only made one season, or worse the last season ends on a cliffhanger. The Clinic had quite the cliffhanger ending! If you like a very soapy medical drama though, it is quite good.
  3. Father Octavian tells the Doctor that River Song is under his supervision til she has completed the task he has set for her in order to bring down her sentence. So they have a close working relationship and he wishes to see her freed. ... The Shadow Over Innsmouth (1992) - I have subtitled and upscaled one of the rarest H.P. Lovecraft movies ...

Whenever a doctor has to make a procedure, they have to ask the patient (or a family member / legal guardian if the patient is unconscious) for approval and a signature, after explaining the options and risks. ... He got a lawyer and after ~2 years of legal bureaucracy in what should've been an open and close case because he had the approval ...
  5. A subreddit for your favorite obsessive-compulsive detective-based television show content! A subreddit for all Monk-related content! "Monk" was an extremely popular USA Network TV show centering around a detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
  6. For John McCain, his father was a US Navy officer stationed in the Panama Canal Zone, so despite it being in Panama his U.S. citizenship was automatic, as it is (or should be) for the children of all US citizens born overseas. (FYI: not all U.S. military members are U.S. citizens; all officers are as it's a prerequisite for commissioning).
  7. The first one of these is Father's Day, the eighth episode of the first season, written by Paul Cornell (known for The Family of Blood) and starring Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor. Some of my favorite episodes tend to be really good character episodes, where characterization is the main focus, with adequate to excellent science ...
  8. It's obvious my father is a narcissist. He's also a doctor. I think it makes some sense because he has "power" over other people and people, lots of people will seek his advice. What can a narcissist have as a better job than this? But what's funny is that he, as a doctor, never in his entire life has ever cared about my well being.
  9. The way the poor ugly doctor Godwon said: "my father did ...(this horrible thing)" again and again like it was nothing, and the people around him just looked in horror each time. It was so narc parent childhood to me. Where you tell a funny story, but it is not funny, it is sad. Or horrible.
