This printer has a built in smart install feature, so when you plug in the printer it will detect it as a mass storage device. just go to my computer and it will have a HP drive with a HP icon along with the other drives. so just double click on it and it will install the printer, once done the mass storage in device manager will go away.

Original title: Plug in printer, Windows 7 detects it as a mass-storage device. This is in Windows 7, 64 bit. The printer in question is a HP PSC 1110 (printer/scanner/copier). When I plug it in, the computer makes the tone indicating that something was plugged in, but when I go to access the device, it says to insert a Removable Disk. Now, what I plugged in WAS classified as a Removable Disk, but Windows doesn't recognize that. I tried to check Devices and Printers to see if it appeared, and sure enough, it did.
