    In the original Star Wars, later renamed Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope, Luke Skywalker and Ben Kenobi are attempting to deliver the Death Star plans to Alderaan per the Princess' request.In order to travel that far, they need a good ship, and an even better pilot. This leads them to Han Solo, the pilot of the Millenium Falcon.
  3. The entire Star Wars franchise is a minefield of Mandela Effects. Between all of the actual variations in the films, the different retellings (novels, radio dramas, etc.), and the fact that human memory is notoriously fallible, it's a recipe for people getting things mixed up. For this line in particular, I'm guessing it's one of two things.
  4. And in my opinion it is a good thing. Star Wars is an old franchise which movies are not that great. The original was groundbreaking due to its special effects, but the story is very simple. The whole thing should have stopped right there, Death Star exploded, our heroes won. Done. But no, they had to make more movies. And they are sub-par.

  6. At this point we are just proving an negative. Star Wars isn't Game of Thrones where everyone have their good and bad. SW is a black and white story where Empire is black and Jedi is holy. For all we know Palpetine just gave the trade federation the final backbone they needed to push their rebellion, or Palpestine mass mind control them all.
