    Received an email from CloudPlatform-noreply@google.com saying that my account had invalid payment information or overdue balance which has gotten it suspended. Has anyone else gotten an email like this, is this a scam, and what will Google normally do/send if the above is actually the case?

    I just received the same email. I am an American who lives in Mexico and my account is set up in English with my country of residence as Mexico.

    here's some general info : never give out your password to emailed requests , any email from Google must **end** in google.com ( so for example this can also be legit scoutcamp.bounces.google.com and this too gaia.bounces.google.com) - but even if it does - click the show details arrow and make sure the domain you see next to the 'mailed-by' or 'signed-by' lines matches the sender's email address.

    If you're signed in to a Google Workspace account: Your administrator might have turned off access to Google News. For more info, contact your account administrator. News.google.com won't be accessible unless you sign out of the account. To access Google News, sign out of the account or switch to a personal Gmail account.
