    Cloudbuster

A cloudbuster is a device designed by Austrian psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich, which Reich claimed could produce rain by manipulating what he called "orgone energy" present in the atmosphere. The cloudbuster was intended to be used in a way similar to a lightning rod: focusing it on a location in the sky and grounding it in some material that was presumed to absorb orgone—such as a body of water—would draw the orgone energy out of the atmosphere, causing the formation of clouds and rain. Reich conducted dozens of experiments with the cloudbuster, calling the research "Cosmic orgone engineering". There have been no verified instances of a cloudbuster actually working and producing noticeable weather change, such as causing rain. Orgone therapy is seen as pseudoscience. A modern reinvention of cloudbuster is being sold under names of chembuster, orgone cannon or akasha pillar. It is marketed as a countermeasure against chemtrails. Wikipedia

Orgone (/ ˈ ɔːr ɡ oʊ n / OR-gohn) [1] is a pseudoscientific [2] concept variously described as an esoteric energy or hypothetical universal life force.Originally proposed in the 1930s by Wilhelm Reich, [3] [4] [5] and developed by Reich's student Charles Kelley after Reich's death in 1957, orgone was conceived as the anti-entropic principle of the universe, a creative substratum in all of ...

But my eye is a little less yellow when I look at Wilhelm Reich. Reich claimed to have discovered a life energy he called "orgone" back in the 1930s. He made a device that supposedly accumulated the energy, the "orgone accumulator" (ORAC), and another that allegedly could manipulate it in the atmosphere called a "cloudbuster."

Reich's complementary discovery of a specific life energy, the orgone, is likewise founded upon sound, verifiable experiments. Even his orgone accumulator, dismissed by know-nothings as a 'quack' appliance, turns out to be a potent therapeutic device, capable of beneficially stimulating the physiology of plants, animals, and people.

Wool and cotton are used for the organic layers and steel is used for the non-organic layers, although Dr. Reich used fiberglass for the organic material in his accumulators. The Wilhelm Reich Foundation-founded in Maine in 1949 by students and friends to preserve Reich's Archives and to secure the future of his discovery of the Cosmic Life Energy-was fined $10,000. While Reich appealed his sentence, the government carried out the destruction of orgone accumulators and literature.
