His second novel, Gnosis, has been published in 2008 in German, Japanese and Turkish. His third novel, Oz, has been published in 2016 in Turkish only.   6. Give first-time author Adam Fawer credit - he has succeeded in melding hopelessly arcane scientific theory and speculation with a bona fide non-stop action thriller. "Improbable" is an aptly discriptive title, but Fawer's plot and premise is no more improbable than "Jurassic Park", and nearly as entertaining.
