13 Jerico's Restaurant & Banquet
They specialize in prime rib in 3 sizes, and most went for that, although the large porterhouse as well as chicken cordonblu were judged excellent also. Unlike some of the Omaha steakhouses where the meat is ala carte, at Jerico's the dinners come with choice of soup or salad and one additional side, which is nice on the pocketbook.
5 J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood
J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Blue potato chips & chocolate velvet cake.
1 801 Chophouse
801 Chophouse is located in the heart of Omaha's Old Market, nestled inside The Paxton. Come enjoy a comfortable but upscale dining atmosphere with romantic lighting, dramatic finishes, and signature leather booths modeled after authentic New York steakhouses of the 1920s.
2 Brother Sebastian's Steakhouse & Winery
We spent a week visiting Omaha and wanted to try Omaha beef. Menu choices, ambiance, plenty of free parking, positive reviews, and reasonable prices led us to Brother Sebastian's Steakhouse. Our meals and service were so good we decided to return the next night. The New York Strip and Filet were perfection.
