In this article we study definable functions in tame expansions of algebraically closed valued fields. For a given definable function we have two types of results: type (I), which hold in a neighborhood of infinity, and type (II), which hold locally for all but finitely many points in the domain of the function. In the first part of the article, we show type (I) and (II) results concerning ...

  2. In this article we study definable functions in tame expansions of algebraically closed valued fields where C-minimality is taken as the tameness condition. The main theorems obtained concern the factorization of definable functions over the value group (Γ-factorization) and over the residue multiplicative structure (RV-factorization).

In this paper we present the final third step. As in Yin (2010) [12], we limit our attention to the theory of algebraically closed valued fields of pure characteristic 0 expanded by a (V F, Γ)-generated substructure S in the language L RV. A canonical description of the kernel of the homomorphism L is obtained.
