  2. Create a new world/save. Map editor -> New scenario -> Sandbox Use /editor to switch between editor tools on and off, i think there's a few use cases for turning them off. Editor tools lets you spawn/destroy resources as well as add or remove water. There's probably a bunch of other tools you can use that I haven't figured out.
  3. Test World Mod? Question I couldve sworn i had a mod that allowed me to press a button and id be teleported to a test area in the middle of my game. i either forgot the bind or its just not there anymore. i forgot what the mod was called but if anyone could help me find it id appreciate it
  4. The rewards are well worth it in my opinion. You can try out not only new things coming to the game but things you don't want to try in live game servers, or try out ships you don't have yet (you can research tech tree ships for 1 XP and buy them with your PTS credit pile).
  5. I loaded up a quick test world to get the stats of apparel. The boots add a flat .10c/sec and the hat adds 0.05c/s, as my screenshots show. However I also noticed that shorts add .12c/sec and the tank top adds another .05c/sec. The combined buff is greater than the fast walker trait (+0.20c/sec) at +0.32c/sec. Screenshots!

Other important test map changes I'd recommend; 1) turn on everything in the Interactions section of the map editor's settings tab. 2) using the Surfaces tool, convert the map to lab tiles, and toggle on generate new chunks with lab tiles; this gets you the sterile environment seen in the Tips & Tricks screens.

It does this by looping through all the variations of things, instead of showing each possible color, biome, etc.
