We're moving DuckDuckGo's AI chat to its own home at duck.ai. Don't worry – it's still the same private AI chat you trust, just with a new, shorter web address.
What’s changing?
Only the domain name. Previously, when you visited duck.ai, you'd be redirected to duckduckgo.com to use the chat. Now, duck.ai will be the actual home – no more redirects. Everything else stays the same, so you’ll be able to enjoy the same private, anonymized access to popular AI chat models.
When will I see this change?
We're rolling out the new duck.ai domain gradually and some people will see the change sooner than others. This depends on factors like which version of the DuckDuckGo browser you're using and how we're managing the transition. If you haven't been moved yet, you can continue using chat as normal until the change happens for you.
